Improved insight into working hours with updated logbook

Posted on:

Effective building management requires detailed insight into activities. With the latest update to the Doorcy logbook, you can now see not only who was active and when, but also how long someone worked between different actions.

Smart time tracking based on logbook

The logbook has been expanded with smart time registration. For each action, you can now see:

  • The user's name

  • The action or scene performed

  • Date and time

  • The time elapsed since the previous action by the same person

The new log entries are structured as follows: [Name]: [Scene title] [Date] [Time] (X minutes since previous action). For example: Jan - Front door scene has started. January 25, 2025, 08:15 (12 hr).

How does this change make the logbook even more valuable?

This improvement makes the logbook even more valuable for:

  • Monitoring working hours

  • Analyzing activity patterns

  • Gaining insight into the effective usage time of spaces

  • Tracking attendance on site

Benefits for administrators

This new functionality gives you immediate insight into how users spend their time within your building. You can see at a glance how long someone has been active between different activities, which helps you plan and manage your location more efficiently. This detailed information supports you in making informed decisions about building use and staff deployment.
