Doorcy's recent API update allows administrators to generate a unique PIN code and "insert" it for a specific reservation. Let's say the korfball club has reserved a training session. Once the reservation has been received with the label "korfball," the system automatically generates a PIN code—for example, 186578. This PIN code is sent to the person who made the reservation. The PIN code becomes active as soon as the reservation starts and is only valid during the booked period. This way, administrators do not have to generate and send manual access codes.
This development represents a step forward not only for administrators, but also for users. Before the reservation begins, a member of the group is given a PIN code. Once they arrive, they can be the first to enter the PIN code. This action is recognized by Doorcy, and the PIN code is activated. From that moment on, all subsequent korfball players can simply use the active PIN code to gain access. This not only ensures efficiency, but also peace of mind when managing reservations. Shortly before the training hour begins, the players simply enter the PIN code on the front door. Doorcy 'sees' the match with the reservation and activates the PIN code. This means that only the authorized group has access to the space. The reservation is started by an authorized key and the code is activated. This seamless interaction ensures smooth access, leaving the korfball players time to get changed before training begins.
