Where Doorcy users previously had to enter their PIN codes in the admin environment, administrators can now easily change and manage these PIN codes.
Imagine: there is a QR code at the front door of your building that visitors must scan to gain access. Regular visitors use the Doorcy app for this, but occasional visitors (such as suppliers or parcel deliverers) may not have this app installed. Thanks to the new functionality, administrators can set a PIN code for occasional visitors in the admin environment. Upon arrival, they scan the QR code and enter their PIN code to gain access.
Regular and occasional visitors
The QR code at the door can be used by both app users and non-app users. App users gain immediate access after scanning, while occasional users must first enter a PIN code. This system offers a flexible and user-friendly solution for access management.
Change PIN code
Suppose a regular supplier has been given a PIN code to access a building, but that supplier is on vacation. A colleague takes over his route, which means he needs access to the building. The building manager can easily change the PIN code in the admin environment and pass on the new PIN code to the supplier. This ensures security without the need for physical interaction.
This function can be used in various situations:
All these changes can be controlled remotely with Doorcy.
Unmanned access
What makes Doorcy unique is that doors can be opened, controlled, and managed without the need for transfer or human intervention. Unlike traditional tag systems, which require tags to be programmed and always carried by the user, Doorcy offers a more efficient solution. Administrators can remotely transmit PIN codes or make changes in the admin environment without physical interaction.
Want more control and convenience too?
This new feature from Doorcy gives administrators even more freedom to remotely manage and control access, while users enjoy greater convenience.
