Do you ever have to deal with occasional visitors who you want to grant access to your location? For example, a supplier, a customer, or a friend? Doorcy has introduced a new feature that allows visitors to log in with a PIN code, so that occasional visitors no longer have to remember a username and password, without compromising the security or control of your premises.
Doorcy's new code function makes the process of granting access effortless and worry-free, even for occasional visitors, while safety remains paramount.
How does it work?
The PIN code is a numerical code that can be generated by the Doorcy administrator for each person they wish to add to the Doorcy system. The administrator can share the PIN code with the visitor via email or text message, for example. The visitor can then scan the QR code and enter the PIN code to gain access to the location and scene to which they have been invited. Administrators can decide when to expire a PIN code, so guests never have access for longer than necessary. If desired, an administrator can also receive a push notification when the visitor has started the scene. This way, administrators are always aware of who is entering their premises, even when they are not physically present.
What are the benefits?
With the PIN code, you don't have to worry about sharing complex login details. Instead, you simply generate a PIN code and share it with the delivery person, for example. Once they arrive, they can use their smartphone to enter the PIN code. This gives them access to the building and allows them to bring the package inside safely.
