Now that Doorcy is being used in more and more locations, more and more requests are coming in that could improve the system. One of those requests was a link between Doorcy and other systems.
Let Doorcy communicate with existing systems
By linking Doorcy to, for example, a location's reservation system, Doorcy becomes an even more central place to control various elements. We have also made it possible to link more extensive logs to other external systems such as time registration and security data within a building. This way, administrators can not only see that someone has entered or left, but also which user it was. All these new features have been made available in the API.
Curious about which API connections have been added to integrate Doorcy even better? Below is the complete overview:
-
Request customers
-
Retrieve specific customer based on ID
-
Create customers
-
Update customer information
-
Requesting Doorcy's
-
Request specific Doorcy based on device_id
-
Request access for all users
-
Request access for a specific user
-
Add access for a user
-
Request logs
With the new API connections, Doorcy becomes a more complete system in the field of visitor data or customer data. This makes it easier to retrieve customers, create customers, and edit customer data. Doorcy users gain more insight into who has access to a building.
In one of the earlier updates, it was already made possible to link multiple Doorcy's to a location. When users want to view the data from this Doorcy, the new API links make this a lot clearer.
Easier access and viewing for users
Doorcy makes it easier to grant people (remote) access to a building. This improves the security of a building. It is therefore convenient for administrators to be able to request and view user access.
Do you use Doorcy and are you also missing a link? Then contact for the corresponding security checks.
